Split-Frame O.D.
Mount Machines

After years of research and discussions with field machining professionals, H&S Tool introduced this line of advanced O.D. mount split-frame pipe cutting and beveling machines.
These tools have quickly become the preferred choice for severing, beveling, squaring, flange reconditioning and other pipe machining applications.
The AFC series covers sizes from 1" to 48" (25.4 to 1219.2 mm).
Our heavy duty BFC series features a thicker ring for added rigidity in the larger diameter, heavier wall pipe applications. The BFC range is currently 36" to 66" O.D. (914.4 to 1676.4 mm).
Our specialty MFC-2 fits in tight places and has a range from
.625" - 2.625" (15.9 - 66.7 mm).
With both series, greater reliability is realized with our heavy duty gear box featuring the patented motor mount assembly. Strength, rigidity and reduced weight are accomplished with our aluminum frame and unique patent-pending ring design. Lower overall investment is required due to our unique locator pad design with a full 3/4" (19 mm) travel adjustment, reducing the number of extensions needed to cover the full range. Our complete non-size-specific parts interchangeability across the full model line adds economy and convenience.
Rental or purchase, the machines are loaded with time-saving, work-saving, profit-building features that are not available on any others.
The patent-pending tripper mechanism has been designed for safety and ease of use. The extended handle for engagement and disengagement keeps hands clear of rotating components.
Maximum reliability is assured with our exclusive motor mount assembly which was awarded U.S. patent #7,690,283 B1.
The precision machined aluminum frame combines with our unique patent-pending ring design to deliver maximum rigidity and reduced weight without compromising strength.
Unique to H&S, our locator pads have a full 3/4" (19 mm) travel adjustment per pad which minimizes the number of pads required to cover the full working range.
The entire line of H&S split-frame O.D. mount machines was designed for parts interchangeability. Non size-specific parts are common from the smallest to the largest model. This reduces the amount of parts inventory required and allows swapping from one machine to another in the field.
The new MFC-2 is designed for use in congested areas and for severing and beveling pipes as small as .625" (15.9 mm).
